I specialise in sport; particularly football and offer news, documentaries, features, live sport, sporting highlights and branded content. I also offer Drone photography and filming. I am a member of the Football Writers Association.

SJA Media Services was created in 2010 by Sam Alexander. Sam is a Producer / Director with over 30 years experience in the sports broadcasting industry.
He has represented companies such as BBC Sport, IMG, Premier League Productions HBS, OBS and Pitch International over the years.
His client list is second to none – from Camera operators to editors to other producers; Sam also has an extensive list of contacts in the business.

I produce high quality documentaries and magazine / life style programmes and features on behalf of my clients. I have extensive knowledge of producing both live galleries and Outside Broadcasts.
I direct on site and have interviewed and filmed some of the biggest sports stars in the World. I have worked on big events such as FIFA World Cups, UEFA European Championships and the Olympics.
I am a huge Liverpool supporter.
I have extensive knowledge of sports production having worked in the industry since 1994. I have covered a whole host of sports including football, tennis, rugby, cricket, equestrian, Beach Volleyball and many more. I can be found out on shoots, in the edit suite or in the gallery. I’ve travelled the World meeting all sorts of interesting people doing a job I love.
I’m constantly out in the field directing ENG and multi camera shoots. Whether it be filming football matches at the European Championships in Kiev, interviewing Kenny Dalglish on the golf course or trying to find the best location to film shots of Rio De Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer statue; I always strive to be the best at what I do.
I have spent many years creating features for shows such as Football Focus and Premier League World. From the stories inception right through to directing the shoot, interviewing the protagonists, researching the archive, writing the script and producing the edit. I produce features of the highest quality for every single one of my clients.
I co-produced Football’s Greatest 2 for Pitch International. This was broadcast on Sky Sports. I made shows on football legends such as Steven Gerrard, Lionel Messi, Andreas Iniesta, Dennis Bergkamp and Ryan Giggs. A particular highlight was sitting down with Steven Gerrard and interviewing him on his career with Liverpool and England.
I’m equally at home in a Live Gallery environment or on an Outside Broadcast. I produce live football, remote productions, tennis, phone in shows and athletic events. I enjoy interacting with the presenters, analysts and pundits and have built up good solid relationships with them over the years.
I produce match highlights and longer match edits for shows such as BBC Sport’s Match of the Day and the Worldwide feeds of Premier League Productions football transmissions. My editorial knowledge and experience of working in the edit suite means I create television worth watching.
I am more than happy to work anywhere at anytime and have shot programmes and features as far afield as Africa, Asia and South America as well as extensively in Europe and the UK.
